Apostilling U.S. corporate documents is easy as 1-2-3!

1. Download and complete our order form.
2. Mail your original document and the order form to us.
3. Receive your apostilled documents at your address anywhere in the world!

Please visit Our Services page to begin the process of making your documents legal in a foreign country.

Global Apostille can obtain apostilles for corporate documents from any state in the U.S. Each state has unique requirements so the original document or a certified copy should be mailed to us instead of a copy.

Documents drafted by a company or a corporation must be notarized locally. For example, if a corporation founded in the state of Georgia needs its Articles of Incorporation apostilled, it must be done in the state of Georgia and the drafter’s signature needs to be certified by a notary licensed in the state of Georgia who has experience preparing documents for foreign use.

Below are examples of documents that may need to be authenticated and apostilled for foreign use.

Business / Corporate Documents:

  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Certificate of Free Sale
  • Certificate of Foreign Government
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Corporate Documents to be Used Overseas
  • Department of Health and Human Services Documents
  • Distributorship Agreements
  • Food and Drug (FDA) Administration Documents
  • United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
  • Patents
  • Power of Attorney

Documents used at the federal level include:

  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Certificate of Foreign Government
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Corporate Documents to be Used Overseas
  • Distributorship Agreements
  • Food and Drug (FDA) Administration Documents
  • United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
  • Patents
  • Power of Attorney
  • Shipping Documents

An apostille makes corporate documents acceptable for use in a foreign jurisdiction. However, for an apostille to be accepted, the corporate document must have originated from a country party to the Hague Apostille Convention and intended for use in another country – a member of the Hague Convention. If a country requesting authentication of your corporate document is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention then your corporate document may need further authentication at the U.S. Department of State Office of Authentications and legalization through the Embassy / Consulate office.

The U.S. Department of State Office of Authentications requires all documents to be in their original format and in the English language. If your corporate documents are not in English, they require a certified translation into the English language and notarization. Please contact us if you need assistance with translating your documents.

Obtaining an apostille can be a complicated process and should not be left to someone that does not understand all of the steps involved. Untrained persons that do not understand all of the tasks involved for certification in each country are more likely to make errors, which will delay the processing of your documents for days, weeks, or even months. Instead of wasting time and money with non-professionals, let Global Apostille handle the apostille for your corporate documents.

"When I was trying to get OCI Processing for my son done in India, I came to know that birth certificate Apostille should be submitted. I was not aware of such a thing. I was not sure whom to trust, I have sent emails to few agencies who said they will get it done. The one thing I really liked about Global Apostille is their prompt response and clear communication through emails."
