Medical Examination Apostille

Do you need to apostille your Medical Examination?

A medical examination report typically includes the applicant’s blood type and results of blood tests for HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Syphilis, and indicates that the applicant has no contagious diseases.

A foreign country can request a medical examination for various reasons.

Below are the most common reasons:

  • Citizenship / Permanent Visa
  • Marriage
  • Adoption
  • Work Permit

Not many countries require to obtain a medical examination.  If you need to get an apostille on your medical examination, you must first contact your Family Physician and schedule a routine medical check-up.  Once your medical examination is completed, the Doctor must sign it and his/her signature needs to be notarized.  We recommend that you arrange for a mobile notary to come to your physician’s office. The Doctor will need to sign your medical examination document in front of the notary public. Once notarized, your report can be mailed to our office for processing

If you are located outside of the United States, the local US Embassy or US Consulate office may be able to provide information on how to complete a medical examination without having to travel back to the USA.

Obtaining an apostille can be intricate. Avoid leaving this task for inexperienced staff or non-professionals who are not fully aware of the complexities of the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your application may be rejected, and you lose time and money. Make a better choice!
