Ecuador Apostille

Ecuador is a member country of the Hague Apostille Convention, therefore, any official document destined for this country needs to be authenticated with an Apostille from the Secretary of State.

Ecuador has signed the Hague Apostille Treaty (also known as Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents) on April 2, 2005.

The most frequently requested documents we receive for apostille service are:

• Birth Certificates
• Death Certificates
• Marriage Certificates
• Divorce Decree
• Single Status Affidavit
• Background Check Reports (Local, State, FBI)
• FBI Apostille for Ecuador
• Power of Attorney
• Copy of Passport
• Copy of Driver’s License
• School Transcripts and Diplomas
• Authorization Letter
• Travel Consent Letter
• Articles of Incorporation
• Certificate of Good Standing
• Certification of Free Sale
• Certification of Origin
• Corporate Power of Attorney
• Commercial Invoice

We can process an apostille on documents issued by any US State, and documents issued by the United States Federal Government.

If you are located in Ecuador or another country and require assistance with apostille service on your documents, please check with us before sending your documents to our office. We can only obtain an apostille on documents originating from the United States. If your documents were issued in Ecuador, you will need to contact the appropriate competent authority in Ecuador to assist you. Also, some documents may require notarization before they could be submitted for an apostille. Our service includes second-day domestic shipping within the United States. If your documents need to be sent internationally, we will be happy to arrange international shipping for an additional fee.

Obtaining an apostille is a complex process and should always be handled by professionals only. Remember that trusting your important documents to incompetent persons who are unfamiliar with the specifics of each country, may lead you to lost money, and delays of your important business by weeks, or even months.

Our experts are available Monday through Friday from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM. Please call us at 1-770-447-0360 or toll-free 866-416-0747, and we will answer all your questions and offer easy-to-follow detailed instructions.
