Are you going to work or study abroad? Have you been asked to obtain an apostille on your diploma?
At Global Apostille, we make obtaining an apostille on your diploma easy and stress-free.
We obtain apostille on diplomas signed and notarized in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. If you are heading to a country that is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, we are also able to certify and legalize your diploma through the United States Department of State and the Embassy or Consulate office.
We apostille diplomas issued by Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Trade Schools. If you want to apostille your diploma, you will need to complete the steps listed below.
1. First, contact your School’s Registrar Office and let them know that you need an original or color copy of your diploma to be signed and notarized. The Registrar office with either ask that you mail your original diploma to the school or send to them a color copy by email. Some schools request that you purchase a new diploma from the school. Most schools have in-house public notary. If your school does not have a notary on staff, you can arrange for a mobile notary to come to your school and meet with the Registrar when it’s convenient for the Registrar. The notary is required to apply proper notarial laws of his/her State for the State office to authenticate your diploma. Most notaries are no experts in authenticating diplomas for another country, so it’s best to trust the apostille process to professionals like us.
2. Once you receive your notarized diploma, please check it to make sure that the diploma has been properly signed and notarized. Verify that your document bears the original signature and the printed name of the Registrar, as well as the notary’s name, notary’s signature, date of notarization, notarial affidavit, and seal. Some schools will sign and notarize the back of the diploma while others have enough space to use the front.
3. Finally, mail in your documents to our office for apostille processing. We have order forms and credit card authorization forms designed for use in every US State and the District of Columbia.
Important! We can apostille documents originating from or notarized within the United States and intended for use by another country. If your diploma was issued outside of the United States, you will need to contact the appropriate authority to assist you in that country.
Obtaining an apostille can be intricate. Avoid leaving this task for inexperienced staff or non-professionals who are not fully aware of the complexities of the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your application may be rejected, and you lose time and money. Make a better choice!
