How to Apostille a Diploma

Were you asked to obtain an Apostille on your diploma?

If you wish to work or study in a foreign country, you will be required to apostille your Diploma.
We have extensive experience in getting an apostille on diplomas from universities, colleges, and high schools from all over the United States.  For your diploma to get apostilled, first it needs to be signed by the Registrar and notarized. The Registrar is an administrative professional authorized to attest to the Diploma’s authenticity and validity.

At Global Apostille we can apostille diplomas issued by any of the 50 States and the District of Columbia (Washington, DC). If you received your Diploma in a different country, that country needs to obtain an Apostille for your diploma. We can help you with apostille only if your diploma was issued by the US educational institution.

To get your Diploma apostilled please follow these easy step-by-step instructions:

1. First, contact your School’s Registrar’s Office and let them know that you need an original or color copy of your diploma to be signed and notarized.  The Registrar’s office will either ask that you mail your original diploma to the school or send to them a color copy by email. Most schools have an in-house public notary that can notarize your Diploma. If that’s not the case, you can arrange for a mobile notary to come to your school and meet with the Registrar. The notary is required to apply proper notarial laws of his/her State for the State office to authenticate your diploma. We recommend that the Registrar assists the notary by signing and notarizing the back of the diploma.  A statement from the registrar followed by the notarial affidavit is the most preferable.

 2. Once you receive your notarized diploma, please check it to make sure that the diploma has been properly signed and notarized.  Verify that your document bears the original signature and the printed name of the Registrar, as well as the notary’s name, notary’s signature, date of notarization, notarial affidavit, and seal. Some schools will sign and notarize the back of the diploma while others have enough space to use the front.

3. Finally, mail in your documents to our office for apostille processing.

Obtaining an apostille can be intricate. Avoid leaving this task for inexperienced staff or non-professionals who are not fully aware of the complexities of the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your application may be rejected, and you will lose time and money. Make a better choice!

Our experts are available Monday through Friday from 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM. Please call us at 1-770-447-0360 and we will answer all your questions and offer easy to follow detailed instructions.
