Do you need to apostille an academic diploma?
If you were offered a job in a foreign country or going abroad to continue your education, your US-issued academic diploma would need to have an apostille to become legally acceptable abroad.

How to apostille an academic diploma?
To receive an apostille on US-issued academic diploma, you will need to complete these steps:
1. You need to contact your School Registrar’s office and request an original or a notarized signed color copy of your diploma. Some schools have in-house public notaries, although, not all. So, be prepared to arrange for a traveling notary to come to your school and meet with the school’s Registrar. If you use a traveling notary public, make sure you select an experienced notary with a license valid in your state, and familiar with notarial laws in your state. Incorrectly notarized diplomas will not be accepted for apostille processing.
2. When you receive your notarized academic diploma, please review it carefully to make sure your academic diploma is signed by the school’s Registrar with his/her name clearly stated, and has proper notarial affidavit, signature and stamp of the notary, and notary’s commission validity dates.
3. If your academic diploma meets all the requirements, you can mail it to our office for apostille processing.
